Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites is written by Chris Heimerdinger, published by Covenant Communications Inc. in the year 1989, and has 268 pages. Jim (Jamie) and his new friend Garth find an ancient painting along the edge of a river that leads them to believe that a local legend, The Rainbow Room exists. So one day they go to the cave (Jim's sister Jennifer also came) that the Rainbow Room is rumored to be in, and they look for a really long time, and then they find it! Then Jen falls into a river that was in the cavern and Jim follows, then Garth follows. Then they go back in time to the time of the nephites and have a lot of adventures. They even meet the prophet Ammon! If you like history stuff, read this book!
In my opinion, I rate this book with 4 stars.
